First Training for Advisory Services in the Agroecology Switzerland Project

In October , the first training session for advisors took place as part of the Agroecology Resource Project. This event provided a valuable opportunity to connect participants, clarify roles within the project, and establish a foundation for further collaboration.

Content
This training served as the first official meeting between advisors and the project team. It began with a brief project introduction by Ruben Baert from the Institute for Agroecology, who explained the key objectives and context of the resource project. The session then covered several thematic blocks:

Impact Monitoring and Performance-Based Payments
Anina Gilgen from Agroscope outlined the data collection requirements for impact monitoring and the implementation of performance-based payments.
Advisory Services in Agroecology and Role Clarification within the Project
Lisa Nilles from AGRIDEA led a discussion on the key responsibilities of advisors, the expectations for participating farms, and the organization of upcoming steps.
Use of the Environmental Calculator
Ruben Baert presented the environmental calculator developed by the Institute for Agroecology and explained how it can be used as a practical tool in advisory services.
Co-Creation and the List of Measures
Ruth Moser from AGRIDEA facilitated a collaborative discussion on challenges and solutions. In an interactive session, participants contributed to refining and adapting the existing list of measures.
