Agridea
Agridea is the agricultural advisory centre of the cantonal specialist agencies and is actively committed to agriculture and farming. Through its agronomic and methodological expertise as well as its instruments, it acts as a neutral knowledge hub, connecting players from the entire Swiss agriculture and food sector. Around 120 employees at several locations in the project area with diverse professional backgrounds are committed to agriculture and rural areas. They are proactive and solution-oriented in their search for sustainable, practical solutions in the Swiss agriculture and food sector.
Institute of Agroecology
The Institute of Agroecology (IfA) is a scientific advisory institute and a provider of sustainability services with the aim of making the food system more sustainable. It applies agroecology as a way to approach sustainability in an impact-orientated, science-based and holistic manner. The IfA works with 15 experts on projects concerning the transformation of agricultural and food systems . The portfolio includes expertise, consulting, studies, project development, project implementation, method development for sustainability and the development and realisation of sustainability tools.
Swiss Consumer Forum
The Swiss Consumer Forum (kf) has been in existence since 1961 and has represented the position of consumers ever since. It is characterised by its independence and broad expertise. The Consumer Forum supports consumers in their freedom of choice and offers factual information for navigating through the consumer society.
Scientific partner organisations
Agroscope is the federal competence centre for research in the agriculture and food sector and is affiliated to the Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG). Agroscope conducts research along the value chain of the agriculture and food sector. Agroscope is committed to competitive and multifunctional agriculture, high-quality and healthy food and an intact environment.
Agroscope will also call on FiBL for specialised questions on organic farming.
